Workshop June 2016

‘Take a Bunch of Supermarket Flowers’

Joyce Harrow of Wakefield

Our June workshop was led by Joyce Harrow of Wakefield who demonstrated two ideas for using a bunch of supermarket flowers. Both designs were  relatively inexpensive to create using just one bunch of flowers bought from the supermarket, together with a selection of garden foliage.  These designs would make an ideal gift.

FLOWER FESTIVAL AT ST JOSEPH’S CATHOLIC CHURCH

On the weekend of Saturday 7 May and Sunday 8 May 2016 St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dinnington held a Flower Festival to celebrate their 100th Anniversary.   Four of our members helped with the floral arrangements.  We were made to feel very welcome and had an enjoyable time arranging flowers and eating lovely cake!
