MESH RINGS

This design uses one metre of plasterer’s reinforcing mesh joined with a short cable tie. A more open/wide container is needed to allow the circle to keep its shape. The wire needs to be sandwiched between two pieces of Oasis. Wait for me to show you on the day please. A couple of stub wires are also needed to secure the ring.

REQUIREMENTS – Container – see above and photos below. A trough or oval shape also works. One metre of wire mesh with one cable tie (if provided at a cost of £1.20 approximately).

FLOWERS – Your choice – 10 stems (roses carnations, germini, tulips etc.

FOLIAGE – Your choice – A variety of texture and form (ivy, bergenia, conifer, spruce, hebe, euonymus, garrya plus contorted hazel/willow or any interesting shaped twigs or just ivy trails to soften the harsh wire mesh.
