Title – ‘All That Jazz’

The demonstrator at our July meeting was Lynne Sharpe from Earl Shilton. The title of the Demonstration was ‘Flagtastic’ and Lynne produced a lovely array of floral displays depicting the flags of various nations around the world.

The April workshop was led by Pauline Foster of Gainsborough who demonstrated several ideas relating to the title ‘Spring Delights’.

The meeting was well attended and members and visitors enjoyed having a go at using the materials they had brought to the meeting resulting in an array of beautiful spring arrangements.

Our Demonstrator in March 2024 was Alex Gracey of Grassington. Alex a produced an array of lovely floral arrangements and at the same time educated us with a very interesting talk on the life of the famous designer Coco Chanel.

Demonstrator Jonathan Moseley

‘Fabulous Festive Flowers’

What a wonderful evening this was! The Resource Centre was filled to capacity not only with the smiling members of the audience but also with a wonderful array of Christmas flowers skilfully arranged by Jonathan. The flowers were indeed fabulous and the evening was certainly festive. Thank you Jonathan for the boost this super evening gave to our club.

The demonstrator for our Open Demonstration in November was Catherine Gledhill from Kirkburton near Huddersfield. The title of Catherine’s demonstration was ‘Sparkles and Laughter’.

Our demonstrator was Beverley Artis of Long Eaton whose wonderful floral displays were accompanied by an interesting talk about her holidays in Andalusia.
